AM2PM at the Future Cleantech Festival 2026
On 17 June, AM2PM took part in the Future Cleantech Festival 2026, bringing the project’s perspective on digital fabrication and advanced manufacturing to discussions on the future of construction.
The festival, organised by Future Cleantech Architects, brought together researchers, innovators, industry representatives, policymakers and investors to explore solutions for some of the most challenging areas of industrial decarbonisation.
As part of the programme, Lukas Kirner and Alex Donkers from Eindhoven University of Technology represented AM2PM in the session “The Future of Construction” at the Solutions Hub. The session explored how durability, smart design, green building standards and material efficiency can support a more sustainable construction sector. During the concluding live interviews with EIC-supported innovators, AM2PM joined fellow DigiTrio projectUniversal Timber Slab to discuss how digital fabrication, material efficiency and design for longevity can help reshape construction practices.
AM2PM was also represented in the Solutions Hub, giving participants an opportunity to learn more about the project, its technologies and its system-of-systems approach to digital construction. Visitors could explore an application visualising the topology of AM2PM’s system-of-systems approach. The showcase provided an insight into the project’s broader work combining digital technologies, data-driven methods and advanced manufacturing.
The event provided a valuable setting for connecting AM2PM’s research on robotic fabrication, 3D concrete printing and digital technologies with the broader discussion on reducing the environmental impact of construction.
