AM2PM at the Annual Portfolio Meeting

On 3–4 December 2025, the AM2PM project participated in the Annual Portfolio Meeting of the EIC Pathfinder DigiTrio portfolio, held in Copenhagen. The meeting brought together European research and innovation projects working to transform the built environment through the integration of digital design, advanced fabrication, and sustainable materials.

AM2PM was represented by Aaron Sprecher (Project Coordinator, Technion), Jochen Teizer (DTU), Kilian Speiser (DTU), and Michal Klauda (FENIX TNT). Over the course of the meeting, participants reviewed progress achieved during the past year, exchanged insights on ongoing research activities, and explored opportunities to strengthen collaboration across projects. The portfolio included a diverse set of initiatives, AlgoLoam, AM2PM, Archibiofoam, CARBCOMN, FlexiForm, PANTAREI, RAW, SCENE-B, STACK, and UniversalTimberSlab, reflecting a broad range of approaches to innovation in construction.

During the first day, each project presented recent technical developments and research outcomes. Discussions highlighted shared challenges and emerging opportunities, particularly in the areas of robotic fabrication, digital construction workflows, and scalable manufacturing approaches. For AM2PM, the meeting provided valuable input on how its work on additive-to-predictive manufacturing can connect with complementary efforts across the portfolio.

The second day focused on strengthening the portfolio’s external engagement and long-term impact. Participants explored ways to better connect research outcomes with broader stakeholder communities, align activities with European policy and innovation initiatives, and coordinate communication efforts to increase visibility beyond the research sphere.

The Copenhagen meeting marked an important step in consolidating the DigiTrio portfolio as it moves into its next phase of collaboration. For AM2PM, participation reaffirmed the project’s role in advancing additive-to-predictive manufacturing for multistorey construction, while embedding its technological developments within a wider European innovation ecosystem focused on digitalisation, sustainability and decarbonisation.
