New Video Release: TUM Demonstrates 3D Printing

We are pleased to share a newly released video, featuring a live demonstration led by our partners from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Luca Bettermann and Martin Slepicka. The demonstration took place in April during an internal session for all AM2PM partners and is now publicly available to showcase their ongoing research and technical development.

In the video, the TUM team presents their robotic setup for small-scale 3D clay printing and introduces the key methodologies they are advancing within the AM2PM project. The video covers several core components:

  • Fabrication Information Modelling (FIM)

  • Real-time Data Feedback

  • Performance Evaluation and Process Monitoring:

  • Learning-by-Printing Framework

  • AI-Powered Performance Prediction and Automated Process Optimisation

These developments are a crucial part of AM2PM's goal to bridge the gap between early-stage material development and full-scale automated manufacturing, making additive manufacturing more scalable, responsive, and intelligent.

We want to thank the TUM team for sharing their insights and for their valuable contributions to advancing innovation in digital construction. Watch the full video on our YouTube channel and subscribe to stay updated on future videos.
